THis is how it went down, it rained the whole time, the last lap it POURED sooooooooo much there were huge puddles on parts of the last 5 K, im pretty sure i rode thru stuff 10 inches deep.....INSANE
This was in Johnstown PA---the flood capital of the US, no joke
at one point someones tire blew and i seriously almost crawled out of my own skin i was so jumppy
Mike (Micro) Lange had to get a ride on Brain's shoulders during part of lap 3 because the water was soo deep!
the water so deep at one point that Swains Xterra wouldnt have even made it through!
Oh yeah--- I signed away my life with 5 K to go and decided that I could get a result, riskin certin death......this was THE most insane group sprint I have ever been in....I rolled it in for 11th, so im OK with that, so on that note im goig to go back to my couch, eat some Low Carb hersheys chocolate that is free from the race sponsers and go to sleep by 10pm....racing has turned me into a sissy.
